Linear Slot Diffuser

Al Arabia linear slot diffusers (AR-SLD supply / AR-RLD return) maintain high quality air diffusion in occupied spaces for supply, return and exhaust in heating, cooling or ventilation applications. The air pattern is easily changed by rotating the air deflector blades in either direction; two deflectors per slot give horizontal or vertical discharge; available in 3 slot widths with 1 to 8 slots. Materials: slot diffusers, air deflectors and hit-and-miss dampers are extruded aluminium alloy profiles; the hit-and-miss damper has two extruded profiles with equally spaced rectangular openings, the top profile adjustable and bottom fixed. Slot widths 20 mm (3/4 inch) AR-SLD 20 and 25 mm (1 inch) AR-SLD 25 (16 mm also available); dimensioned tables list A, B, C and cfm/ft per number of slots. Acoustically lined plenum boxes distribute cool air evenly with minimum turbulence; welded and sealed joints, internal perforated baffles / splitters, 1-8 slots, maximum one-piece length 1500 mm, further in sections each with inlet spigot. Plenum of galvanised sheet steel 0.7 mm internally lined with 25 mm mineral fibre; selection example: 320 cfm with 4 slots gives 80 cfm/ft, 4 ft length, SP 0.128 in wg, throw 18/23/28 ft @150/100/50 fpm, NC 28.
